Born into a family of very accomplished photographers, Mervyn has been around photography, it's aficionados, its techniques and its magic, all his life.

His experience ranges from the micro to the macro, with a spellbinding eye for that special picture. His images have been published in a variety of publications.

Mervyn favours traditional photography; he correctly ascertains that digital techniques cannot (as yet) beat the quality of a large format transparency or negative.

This is his first web portfolio; the title gives us perhaps a slight peek into the sense of humour that is so quintessentially him.
